This is for anyone who has a MAGICJACK telephone plug. How does it work? Do you have to ......?

Does it work well and can you really use it for free long distance and international call?
Unfortunately I have A T & T for my telephone and computer. Do I still have to have ATT for my computer? Any information would be appreciated.

Dear I have ATT,
You must maintain your internet connection for MJ to work. You will have to keep your DSL or get cable broadband.
In either case MJ works very well and has much improved since its introduction. The connections are clearer and much more stable than in the past. You have to have your PC on and running for MJ to operate.
AS for international calling there are charges for them. Only the US and Canada are included with the service. Their international charges are very competitive. I call Mexico on a regular basis at .09 cents a minute.
You prepay your inter'l calls by placing money on your account.
