How To Connect Component Cable (Red,Blue,Green) To HDTV?
I have a Samsung LCD 720p HDTV and have a Component Cable which is Red, Blue, Green and when I plug them into the HDTV to my DirecTv it makes the screen Black and White how do I fix this?
Note: My DirecTv box that has the Red, White, Yellow connectors and not the Red, Blue, Green connectors.
if the DirecTV box does not have an HDMI out, or red-blue-green RCA connectors, then it is not a high def box... and you must use the yellow-white-red to connect to the yellow-white-red of your TV...
with yellow-white-red the yellow is the video signal, and the white and red are the left and right audio channels...
with red-green-blue all 3 cables are video signals and the use of an additional cable is required for audio, either optical, coax, or red-white RCA
