How do I change my defult monitor to my plug and play one?

My Laptop srceen went out so I can barely see anything and I want to switch my plug and play monitor (my external) to my defult one.

in Control Panel ->System->Hardware->DeviceManager
Click on driver tab
Click Roll back Driver. it will restore the default settings.

or you can install the new driver for ur monitor from the drivers upload cd.
dont try to change the adapter setting of a monitor as it can damage ur monitor
