Are Bluetooth Printer Adaptors, compatible with my Bluetooth USB Transceiver?
I have a Bluetooth USB Transceiver for my keyboard and mouse. I know I can add and use other Bluetooth capable devices through my transceiver. I want a Bluetooth Printer, but I cannot find any. I was wondering How the adaptors work? what goes were? and will it work with my current transceiver?
Dose the adaptor go in the USB outlet/plug on the printer? Then it communicates with my transceiver? I don’t want to buy something and have it now work! Please all I need to know is how it works?
Sound like you already got it right. If you had a BT printer then the USB part would be just like hooking up a mouse to the transceiver. Once hooked, the PC will find new hardware and you know where to go from there. The whole concept of USB is plug and play so you should have no problem getting everything hooked and detected. The basic rule with USB devices is: if the plug fits, then the device should work. I should add that the Bluetooth printer technology seems to still have bugs. If this is to be used for only 1 PC then it should be gravy, but when you start loading up users and computers I have seen them slow and stop.
